The Commodity Futures Trading Commission sued Damian Castilla, DCAST Capital Investments LLC and Five Traders LLC Tuesday in Florida Southern District Court over alleged violations of federal securities laws. The complaint accuses the defendants of fraudulently soliciting more than $3.4 million from individuals to trade futures in commodity pools that did not exist. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:22-cv-21520, Commodity Futures Trading Commission v. Castilla et al.
