There’s no question that Florida’s property insurance industry is in a drastic “free fall.”

On a weekly basis, carriers are reporting insolvencies, leaving homeowners desperate to settle existing claims while searching for new companies to cover potential damages to their homes. Keep in mind that new carriers will not issue policies until existing claims are resolved or until costly repairs, such as complete roof replacements, are made.
