Few events can tear South Florida’s attorneys away from their work for several consecutive weekdays like the Keymorada Fishing Tournament.

The annual event, which concluded its 16th edition last week, brings more than 100 lawyers, doctors, real estate developers, and other professionals to Islamorada in the Florida Keys for three days of world-class fishing. It’s also among the largest fundraising events in the state for research in search of a cure to Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, two of the most common inflammatory bowel diseases.
