Gilead Sciences was hit with a product liability lawsuit Tuesday in Florida Middle District Court alleging that the company's HIV drugs Viread, Truvada, Atripla, Complera and Stribild contain the toxic compound tenofovir. The lawsuit, part of a string of similar cases, was brought by Morgan & Morgan on behalf of more than two dozen plaintiffs who contend that they were injured by the medications. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 6:22-cv-00914, Harlan et al v. Gilead Sciences, Inc.
