Five South Florida judges are among the 17 candidates that could become the next justice to hold a seat on the Florida Supreme Court bench.

Fred E. Karlinsky, a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig in its Fort Lauderdale office and chair of the Florida Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission, will conduct the interviews of these candidates June 6 or June 11 and will likely send the commission’s nominees to Gov. Ron DeSantis on June 13.
