Lawyers at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete on Monday removed a wrongful death lawsuit against apparel company Under Armour to Florida Middle District Court. The suit, filed by The Kleppin Law Firm on behalf of the Estate of Daniel Everett, contends that Under Armour’s failure to provide adequate services under its employee assistance program resulted in the wrongful termination of Everett on Feb. 10, 2020 and the murder of a co-worker by Everett at defendant’s corporate offices.

The suit further contends that Everett committed suicide after suffering depression as a result of experiencing continuous workplace harassment and discrimination regarding his interracial marriage. The case is 6:22-cv-01000, The Estate of Daniel Everett et al v. Under Armour, Inc. et al.
