Lawyers at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith on Wednesday removed an insurance coverage lawsuit against Durgold Inc. and Wesco Insurance Company to Florida Southern District Court. The complaint was filed by Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller, Overbeck & Baxter on behalf of Vera Ferreira and Michael Gallagher. The lawsuit seeks a declaration that Wesco is legally obligated to satisfy a final judgment in the amount of $17.8 million that it obtained against Durgold in an underlying action arising from a motorcycle accident. The case is 0:22-cv-61133, Gallagher et al v. Wesco Insurance Company et al.
