After two years of steady growth, lawyer hiring at the top 100 Florida law firms plateaued in 2021 as a historic talent war stifled law firms’ plans to expand amid similarly historic demand.

That’s according to a 2022 DBR Review 100, a review of the largest 100 law firms in Florida by in-state head count using data from the 2022 NLJ 500 report. The average Review 100 firm grew by 1% last year, compared with 3.2% in 2020 and 4.9% in 2019.
