Broward County isn’t seeing as much demand for office and industrial space as Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties, but it seems the price is right, and that’s influencing those looking for space to more seriously consider the county as demand tightens.
Industrial rental rates in Broward County have gone up 5.9%, from an average asking rate of $11.19 to $11.90 per square foot. Although vacancy rates fell from 4.2% to 3.4% last quarter, future development is hot with 1.3 million square feet under construction.
