A federal judge in Florida slammed attorneys for an American multinational conglomerate in multidistrict litigation over their decision to hold all depositions “in abeyance” since its subsidiary filed for bankruptcy.

U.S. District Judge M. Casey Rodgers, who sits in the Northern District of Florida, set up the hearing to address why 3M asserted an automatic stay, despite not being a debtor in the Aearo Technologies LLC bankruptcy case.
