South Florida is leading the nation with its retail recovery after the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In Palm Beach County, the retail market is seeing an upward trajectory in the second quarter of the year as people return to the office and foot traffic and in-store sales increase.

That’s according to Colliers’ Q2 2022 Palm Beach County Retail Market report, which says net absorption climbed to 140,278 square feet by the end of the quarter. Leasing activity remained strong in Palm Beach County with 222,000 square feet leased in the second quarter and a total of 590,000 square feet leased year-to-date.
