A jury awarded more than $2.5 million to a man who was struck by a golf cart outside a polo competition in Wellington.

On Jan. 3, 2016, plaintiff Steven Muschlitz, 52, an automobile dealership’s owner, was struck by a golf cart. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a stadium that was located at 3667 120th Ave. S., in Wellington. Muschlitz fell onto the ground, and he claimed that he suffered injuries of an ankle, his back and his neck.
