A jury awarded more than $800,000 to a man who claimed that he suffered spinal injuries in a motor-vehicle accident in 2019.
On June 27, 2019, plaintiff Kevin Collazo, 29, a biomedical engineer, was driving on Interstate 95, in Miami-Dade County. His sport utility vehicle's rear end was struck by a trailing car that was being driven by Faris Hillaire. Collazo claimed that he suffered injuries of his back and neck.
