Seven South Florida attorneys faced the consequence of ethical violations this month, according to information the Florida Bar released Wednesday.

As an official arm of the Florida Supreme Court, the bar and its department of lawyer regulation are charged with administering a statewide disciplinary system to enforce the state high court Rules of Professional Conduct for the more than 110,000 bar members.
