A woman who slipped and fell at a Miami mall lost her premises liability case against the owner of the mall and the company that provided janitorial services for the mall.

On Feb. 3, 2017, plaintiff Kenya Arias, 39, a caregiver, was walking inside Dadeland Mall on Kendall Drive, in Miami. She had just gotten her nails done and was wearing foam pedicure slippers. She was at the mall with her son and his fiancée, who were getting married at the courthouse that day.
