The Florida Bar's Elder Law Committee has a new chair, and he's got a full plate. Howard Krooks is a partner at Cozen O'Connor's Boca Raton office, and was inducted this summer for a one-year term.
As Krooks takes over, he said he's concerned about "rampant" abuse, neglect and exploitation of the elderly, as well as the future of the country's health care system.
