A New York-based architecture and design studio has revealed its plans for what will become the tallest residential tower in Fort Lauderdale.
ODA Architecture will build a 47-story mixed-use tower in the Rio Vista neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale with the goal of adding "lively" ground-floor programming to the neighborhood.
The project at 633 SE Third Ave. will be developed by Dependable Equities and features a distinct cylindrical design with wrap-around balconies, carved double-height voids, and a sequence of what the designer described as "stepping-rounded volumes" around the tower.
