A federal jury rejected the products liability claim of a man who suffered multiple fractures and a brain injury when he fell from a ladder.

On Dec. 11, 2018, plaintiff Craig Davis, 58, an information technology worker, climbed onto his Velocity Model 22 articulating ladder, which is manufactured by Little Giant Ladders. He was attempting to hang Christmas lights on the outside of his home. The ladder has fasteners that can be used to lock the ladder in various different positions. Davis moved the ladder into the extension ladder position.
