A Florida judicial nominating Commission announced it is set to interview 15 candidates on Nov. 14 for a seat on the Miami-Dade Circuit Court bench.

Most notable about the background of many interviewees is that they are judges—eight candidates have ambitions to rise from the county court bench, while three are incumbents from the circuit and county courts who were defeated in the August primary election.
