A Florida attorney received a reprimand in Arizona for violating the state's Rules of Professional Conduct by failing to disclose his firm's true role in representing a bankruptcy client and falsely telling the court he was only working as a document preparer on the case.

According to a final judgment and order issued by the Arizona presiding disciplinary judge, attorney Sam Babbs III was issued a reprimand following a single-count complaint by the State Bar of Arizona. In a disclosure made in bankruptcy court before Judge Daniel Collins, Arizona attorney Gina Becker Zarling stated that she represented a debtor pursuant to a contract with the Babbs Firm. Babbs, a licensed attorney in Florida, was not admitted to practice law in Arizona.
