Around 7:30 p.m., Christopher M. Brown received a text message with the first results of his state judicial race, and in that moment, he knew he was in for a long night.
Brown, a general practice attorney, was facing Suzette O. Hyde, a civil litigation and family law attorney, in a Group 15 runoff election. Both of the candidates are based in Fort Lauderdale.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
