A U.S. district judge determined that he “can wait no longer” for a federal investigation into the alleged misconduct of two prosecutors to conclude, and entered a ruling vacating and ordering a new trial for three South Florida defendants.

U.S. District Judge Darrin Gayles in Miami entered an order involving three defendants against whom jurors returned a guilty verdict five years ago. They are Marcus Pradel, Victor Ramirez, and Matthew Pisoni, the last of whom Mona E. Markus and her husband, David Oscar Markus, represent.
