After over 30 years at Greenberg Traurig, veteran shareholder Barry Richard is parting ways with the firm to start his own practice, citing a desire for more flexibility.

Richard’s resume includes working on behalf of former President George W. Bush on the 2000 recount effort in Florida that led to his electoral victory, and more recently aiding embattled Democrat Andrew Gillum, who lost his gubernatorial bid to Gov. Ron DeSantis in 2018 by a very tight margin.
