A vacancy on a judicial bench in Florida has seen Gov. Ron DeSantis appoint a judge Monday this time to serve on the Hillsborough County Court.

The governor's choice is Cory Chandler of Tampa.

"I would like to thank Governor DeSantis for his trust and confidence in me," Chandler said. "I look forward to serving the citizens of Hillsborough County," Chandler told the Daily Business Review Monday.
