In a response to intense social media backlash, Greenberg Traurig announced the resignation of a New York shareholder accused of abusing his ex-wife, whose suicide letter went viral on social media.

The letter accused former Greenberg Traurig shareholder Allan Kassenoff of domestic abuse and manipulation of the legal system. Catherine Kassenoff, the ex-wife, wrote the letter and posted videos of verbal abuse on Facebook before allegedly dying by medically assisted suicide in Switzerland.
