Ronald M. Friedman, who served on the Miami-Dade Circuit Court bench for more than 25 years, died from a heart attack Monday. He was 81 years old.

Robert A. Dulberg, a partner at Salmon & Dulberg in Miami, recalled Friedman’s five-minute timer in his chambers that he would use for his motion calendar as a circuit court judge in the civil division.
