Florida-based boutique Lawson Huck Gonzalez opened its doors in February and is now passing on the benefits of its cost-saving strategies to its lawyers.

The firm is raising its minimum salary for attorneys to $220,000, just higher than the current $215,000 base salary at Big Law's elite firms. Paralegals will also be earning a minimum of $100,000. The raises come after the firm took steps to save on expenses related to office space and bookkeeping tasks.
