Round one goes to Christmas Wonderland as dueling Miami holiday event venues received some clarity, when a judge ruled to dismiss an emergency injunction sought by one of the event organizers.
Holland & Knight was the prevailing firm in this round of litigation, representing defendant Loud and Live Engage LLC., which secured a venue contract from Miami Dade County at Tropical Park for their Christmas Wonderland extravaganza, once occupied by the plaintiff Santa's Enchanted Forest, Inc. for decades.

After their lease expired, the complaint read that Santa's Enchanted Forest thought a competitive bid process would give it another chance to occupy their old spot again.
