The Florida Supreme Court suspended Peter Gonzalez, a partner and founder of the law firm Sanchez-Medina, Gonzalez, Quesada, Lage, Gomez & Machado, for 30 days after the litigator failed to respond to an order to show cause.

Gonzalez’s recent troubles with the Florida Bar stemmed from a complaint filed against him by a former client, Genesis Aleska Castellanos. The bar declined to provide the complaint filed by Castellanos, and she did not respond to multiple requests for comments.
