New Orleans-based Jones Walker is reestablishing its Tallahassee presence following a deal in 2019 that moved its Tallahassee-based attorneys to Orlando-based Dean Mead.

Jones Walker originally opened its Tallahassee office in 2013 with partner Marc Dunbar heading it before it struck a deal with Dean Mead to absorb its lawyers. At the time, Dunbar joined forces with his father, Pete Dunbar, who was in charge of Dean Mead’s Tallahassee office. Now Marc Dunbar is set to head the Tallahassee office again under the Jones Walker umbrella with his father remaining on the team as special counsel.
