Florida's 100 biggest law firms by full-time equivalent headcount saw a sudden acceleration in growth last year as many Big Law entrants began expanding and others followed.
Average headcount growth for those 100 biggest firms shaped up to just over an 8% total expansion, marking a significant increase over 2022′s 3.8% growth rate. And that rate exceeded previous years, demonstrating that 2023 was a year of explosive growth.
