I last penned an article on March 18, 2024, for the Daily Business Review titled “Less Management and More Authenticity, Genuineness, and Mentorship,” which addressed the importance in the workforce to lead with authenticity, genuineness, and mentorship (coined AGM). Now let’s address another equally important acronym “CSR”—more commonly known as corporate social responsibility.

CSR is much more than a business being philanthropic and giving to charity. Writing a check, while often appreciated, is not CSR. It is vital in the workforce to allow and encourage your team and up-and-comers to engage in CSR. Here is why.
