In 2019, the Palm Beach Post retained Am Law No. 14 firm Greenberg Traurig to seek through a Freedom of Information Act request to see if they could assist in obtaining the files from the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office dealing with 2005-2006 prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein.

The Post made international headlines for their attempts to shake loose the transcripts of the Grand Jury proceedings, which contained detailed answers to questions posed by lawyers in the former state attorneys’ office of victims and witnesses concerning the man one judge termed “the most infamous pedophile in American history.”
