After a two-week federal district court trial in Tampa, a jury hearing a dispute between USI Insurance Services and Lockton, a large national insurance brokerage firm and competitor, has returned a verdict.

The jury found that Lockton had interfered with non-solicitation contracts and aided and abetted breaches of fiduciary duty by two USI brokers who broke their non-compete contracts when they left USI—allegedly without notice and taking their clients and service team—for Lockton.
