As Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15) approaches, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey I've undertaken as a first-generation Cuban American in the legal industry. My story, like many others, is a testament to the strength, resilience, and unique perspectives that Hispanics bring to the table. Today, I am proud to share my experiences and offer insights on how law firm leaders can promote and nurture the exceptional vision that Hispanics have to offer.
In 2022, I had the honor of presenting at a conference on marketing ESG strategies for law firms. The event was held at The Grand Hotel Oslo in Norway, a stunning venue that took my breath away during the walkthrough. I was overcome with emotion, realizing how far I had come—from my humble beginnings to speaking in front of talented law firm leaders from around the world. It was a moment of profound gratitude for the opportunities I had worked hard for and the support I received along the way.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. Yalowitz of Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer have entered their appearances for Hanaco Venture Capital and its executives, Lior Prosor and David Frankel, in a pending securities lawsuit. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
