The Florida Bar filed a complaint in the Supreme Court of Florida against Charles David Franken, an attorney who practiced law in Broward County. Franken is accused of violating multiple Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.
The complaint, penned by bar attorneys Patricia Ann Toro Savitz and Sheila Marie Tuma, alleged that, during a real estate transaction, Franken provided a promissory note to the seller instead of the promised cash payment, leading to criminal charges and disciplinary action.
