Florida's Third District Court of Appeals ordered an attorney to be deposed Wednesday after the appellate judges determined that the "case is one of the exceptional circumstances in which certiorari lies to review an order denying discovery."
In the case Garcia v. Yellow Cab, Garcia is represented by Lyudmila Kogan, a partner at Kogan Law, who filed petitions for a writ of certiorari to quash a protective order barring the deposition of Yellow Cab's attorney, Michael Kaufman, who practices in Miami.
