A wrongful-death lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada by the Estate of a pilot killed in an aviation crash, seeking damages in excess of $100,000 from the United States government.

The lawsuit accuses the Federal Aviation Administration of negligence in its air traffic control duties, which allegedly resulted in a fatal midair collision over the North Las Vegas Airport in July 2022.
