A Coral Gables law firm obtained a $28.9 million settlement in a catastrophic injury negligent security case stemming from a shooting incident involving a teenager.

Michael Haggard and Douglas McCarron, managing partner and partner, respectively, at Haggard Law Firm in Coral Gables, represented the plaintiff, Ivory Smith, as natural parent and guardian of the 16-year-old Tedrick Moss who was shot while visiting a friend at the Village at Delray apartment complex in Delray Beach, Florida.
