In a majority ruling, the Investigative Panel of the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission found probable cause for formal proceedings against Orange County Judge Jeffrey Ashton for inappropriate behavior during judicial proceedings.
In several instances listed in the report, Ashton is accused of shouting at people, showing bias against some attorneys, and behaving "in a manner that was not patient, dignified, or courteous," the panel claimed.
