Becker & Poliakoff is adding vice chair roles to four of its key practice groups as a way to support existing leaders within the firm and motivate them to continue shaping the way their groups function.

The Fort Lauderdale-founded firm is adding the new roles to its construction law, business litigation, lobbying and community association practices. Each practice has at least one new vice chair in addition to the creation of a chief business officer role as the firm attempts to evolve the practices and acknowledge those leaders for past contributions. The new roles are also part of the firm's continuous succession planning, managing shareholder Gary Rosen said.
