As of October, 830 Brickell is officially open and 20% of its space is occupied and functional, but it lost some tenants during the two-year delay in officially debuting.
The Class A commercial building has been closely watched as it signaled Miami's rise as a host for major corporations willing to pay top dollar for a spot in the growing market. The luxury building, renting space as high as $200 per square feet, announced it was 100% leased in 2022 after Kirkland & Ellis snatched the last office space, joining companies like Microsoft and Citadel. But after missing its expected opening in 2022, Winston & Strawn joined investment advisor Rothschild & Co in pulling leases.
