A Florida jury awarded $2.3 million to an injured nurse in a case led by plaintiffs injury firm Morgan & Morgan; nearly 45 times the pre-trial settlement offer from the insurer.
A 41-year-old pediatric nurse who suffered life-altering injuries in a 2021 Orlando car crash was awarded $2.3M by an Orange County jury on Tuesday. Represented by Morgan & Morgan attorneys Ravin Sahadeo, Ryan Rudd, Brian McClain and Daniel Hales, the plaintiff prevailed after rejecting a $50,000 pre-trial settlement offer from the defense, 4500% more than if the client had taken the offer.
