Hollywood, Florida-based budget airline Silver Airways and its subsidiary, Seaborne Virgin Islands, have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing financial challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, rising operational costs, and supply-chain disruptions.
