Shutts & Bowen’s newly appointed Fort Lauderdale managing partner Sidney Calloway has been at the firm since 1998 and is seeking to maintain the firm’s legacy while also adapting to a rapidly changing legal market as he steps into his new role.

Second Hundred firm Shutts currently operates eight offices throughout Florida offering a range of practice areas and a headcount of over 300 lawyers. As Florida’s growth continues accelerating and the legal market continues changing rapidly, Calloway is hoping to strike a balance of keeping what’s worked for the firm intact while also adapting to all the growing needs around him.
