Miami-based boutique Caldera Law is hiring a prominent litigator to come on board as partner along with four other attorneys.

Courtney Caprio is joining the firm as a partner from personal injury firm Kelley | Uustal after serving as a partner at that firm for a year. One of Caprio’s latest victories involved a $63 million judgment against City of Miami Commissioner Joe Carollo, who was sued for using the city’s police force to retaliate against local business owners. The new partner is also bringing along two associate-level litigators who worked on the case with Caprio as the firm also hires two other associates.
