Moving day just got put on hold for the new Miami courthouse, while a lawyer might be poised to control its historic counterpart.
Originally slated for an October 2024 opening, the new Miami-Dade Courthouse opening day has changed again, according to Kathy Labrada, chief efficiency and compliance officer for the county’s Internal Services Division. The last announced grand opening date was Tuesday. "The only delay I am aware of at this time is related to programming of the fire suppression system," Labrada said.
