In an ongoing litigation in Miami Dade County, the defendants filed a motion to take plaintiffs' deposition in the courthouse fearing for their safety.
Cristian Valdes and Elaine Leyva, the plaintiffs, sued Angel Garcel, the defendant, and his company, Jets Skis in Miami-Dade, alleging that Garcel had unlawfully deprived them of a yacht and failed to return it upon demand. According to the plaintiffs, Garcel failed to contribute his agreed share of the costs of the operation.
