A lawsuit filed in the Miami-Dade Circuit Court on behalf of nearly two dozen Audi and Volkswagen auto dealers in the Sunshine State alleged that Scout Motors is violating Florida’s Motor Vehicle Dealer Act.
The plaintiff, represented by John Forehand, a partner at Kurkin Forehand Brandes, Michael Hanzman of Bilzin Sumberg and Richard Sox of Bass Sox Mercer, asked the circuit court to halt Scout Motors’ presales of its highly anticipated electric SUVs, due out in 2028.
