The U.S. Supreme Court declined today to review a challenge by an Orlando-based national litigation group claiming The Florida Bar violated its First Amendment rights by authorizing an amicus brief in a controversial gay adoption case in state court.

The case is awaiting a decision from the 3rd District Court of Appeal, which heard arguments Aug. 26.
